fire skull punisher $
Description:
The Punisher is a comic book character. He represents a hyper masculine, stoic, and deeply troubled man. In ways he reminds me of a version of myself. We all have a dark side to confront and sometimes it sneaks up without announcing it's self. Such are the trials of the initiate in the amnesia playground. Here's what I have to say about that. I tasted darkness when I allowed myself to be a convenience for other people at the expense of myself. And because that experience offered me things I wanted and didn't have, I didn't care what else it took from me. I've always been a bit slow at the mathematics and it took me a while to realize it was a net negative enterprise. My biggest take away is that I think when people are in pain and they want forward movement, they will settle for lateral or even regressive movement if it takes them away from the pain they are in. From the frying pan into the cauldron is an example of the former. From the frying pan into the fire is an example of the latter. So these days when someone's behavior doesn't comport with my preferences or expectation, I'm inclined to see the pain in them instead of the evil. I don't consider that a weakness on my part as long as I have good personal boundaries in place. Speaking of learning lessons... Born into limitation, and a world of illusion, I don't think it's possible to awaken to our true nature without making mistakes. Many never do awaken fully. I know this because I see them... years my senior and still offended by their own creations, like children on the school yard. Once awakened, we can see that there are no mistakes unless we covet that measurement of polarity. Unless we cling to that definition of "being mistaken". No I think rather, the inquisitive adept appreciates all experience as being possessed of a certain spiritual quality. A sort of currency if you like. A value, a meaning, a significance to be savored. So it follows, even our most exquisite pain speaks to the richness of the kingdom within.
